Balloon service & technical support team Nikolaus Binder and Astrid Lohynski-Tokstein will bring their mobile repair and service shop to this year’s event and will set it up at the garage of the airfield in Zell am See, accessible via the airfield.
Small repairs of the envelop as well as on gas cylinders and burners can be done here.
In terms of envelop repairs we would like to ask you to bring your own material if possible as it will not be possible to offer the entire color range of Ripstop + Nomex.
During the entire event, participants will be able to have carried out service and repair works on envelops and burners. Niki Binder is the first official maintenance service provider in Austria. “We are able to carry out all required checks, repairs and revisions in compliance with legal regulations. Our license includes maintenance and repair services, checks and revision of all prevalent 4 point suspension systems.”

Das NÄHWERK, a shop specialized in sewing, is on the road again.
Astrid Lohynski-Tokstein is the owner of the specialized shop "das Nähwerk” and will be available for repairs during the whole event. Damages on the envelop can therefore be repaired on site and the deadline for the next take-off can easily be held. You can also use this opportunity to grant your slightly stained scoop a new Nomex or have the worn through bottom of your envelop carrying bag repaired. “I guarantee the best service for your balloons as I have worked for many years as equipment manager for hot air balloons.”

For the duration of the event, the organizer, in cooperation with dopgas, will provide a propane gas station.
The refueling times will be announced in the daily briefings.
First gas availability 10th February 2017. Last refueling on 19th February. Refueling on 6th and 19th February only by arrangement.
Nitrogen is available at all times without restriction.
